First Dakota National Bank will host AgriVisions 2013 featuring Elwynn Taylor, Ph.D., at 7 p.m. on Monday at Mitchell Technical Institute Technology Center, Mitchell.
Farmers, agri-business professionals and business owners are invited to attend.
The event starts with registration from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and Taylor’s presentation at 7 p.m.
Taylor is a professor of ag meteorology at Iowa State University. He is a consultant to state and national planning and climate (flood and drought) response committees and agencies. He consults to numerous financial, legal and agricultural firms and agencies. Taylor’s vision of mega-trends in technology, climate and society opens the horizons of our enigmatic world.
Nate Franzen, First Dakota’s agri-business division manager, said, “Taylor is an excellent speaker and will provide his insights on how to manage weather conditions.”
