Probation, jail time given for meth possession

A Mitchell woman was ordered Tuesday to serve another 19 days in jail and spend three years on probation for possession of methamphetamine.
Melissa Livingston, 33, has already served 71 days in jail since being arrested for methamphetamine possession. Judge Tim Bjorkman sentenced Livingston to 90 days in jail and gave her credit for those days served, and ordered to serve another 19 days in jail starting July 1.
Livingston was also sentenced to three years on probation with a requirement she enroll in the state 24/7 Sobriety program and receive regular mental health counseling.
