Hanson boys’ basketball coach Josh Oltmanns will speak at the QB Club meeting at 7:30 p.m. today at The Depot.

Oltmanns will talk about Saturday’s Hanson Classic, which is being held at the Corn Palace.

Canistota boys’ basketball coach Pat Jolley will also be in attendance.

Bleeker signs with Northwestern

Mitchell Christian senior Adam Bleeker has signed a letter of intent to play golf for Northwestern College this fall, the school announced Tuesday.

Bleeker has played five years for Mitchell Christian’s boys’ golf team.

He is a four-time state qualifier and holds a scoring average of 77.

Girls’ basketball game rescheduled

The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket and Warner girls’ basketball teams will make up their game that was originally scheduled at the Hanson Classic.

The game is being played Saturday at Sanborn Central School in Forestburg. The JV game starts at 3:30 p.m. with the varsity to follow.
