Mary Wick, Greeley, Colo.

Mary Wick, 93, Greeley, Colo., formerly of Chamberlain, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at The Bridge Assisted Living, Greeley, Colo.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1919.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverview Cemetery, Chamberlain.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hickey Funeral Chapel, Chamberlain.

Mary Burkholder Wick was born in Chamberlain, to Arthur and Elizabeth (Lockwood) Burkholder.

Mary grew up in the Chamberlain area and graduated from Chamberlain High School.

In September 1947, Mary was united in marriage to Arnold Wick.

Mary and Arnold operated a grocery store in Fort Thompson.

Upon their retirement, they moved to Grand Junction, Colo., for 10 years before returning to South Dakota. They made their home in Sioux Falls for many years.

In 2010, Mary moved to Greeley to be closer to her family.

Gratefully sharing in her life are her sister Helen; her three grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Norma Wick.

Preceding her in death were her parents Arthur and Elizabeth Burkholder; her husband, Arnold; and her son, Robert.
