Two cited, none injured in T-bone collision

Two Mitchell residents were cited following a local traffic accident Monday night.

Two Mitchell residents were cited following a local traffic accident Monday night.

Mitchell Police Officer Kelly Knippling said 15-year-old Andrew Shaw, of Mitchell, was traveling westbound on East 11th Street at about 6:30 p.m. and collided with a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix traveling north on Capital Street, driven by Jenna Rave, 24, of Mitchell.

Knippling said Smith was cited for a stop sign violation, and Rave was cited for no proof of insurance. She said no injuries were reported, but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
