HOWARD — Howard’s Cole Potter signed a letter-of-intent to join the Dakota State University football team, announced Friday by Trojan coach Josh Anderson.

HOWARD — Howard’s Cole Potter signed a letter-of-intent to join the Dakota State University football team, announced Friday by Trojan coach Josh Anderson.

Potter was selected as an all-state linebacker in his senior season. He was also named to the Big East and Corn Belt all-conference teams in 2011 and 2012.

In his final season as a Tiger, Potter rushed 70 times for 979 yards and 16 touchdowns. As a linebacker, he had 67 tackles, four sacks and two fumble recoveries.
