Country musician Clint Black is coming to the Corn Palace this spring, according to his website.

Black, 50, will perform at a show on Sunday, April 14. The show will open at 5:30 p.m. if there is an opening act; if not, Black will take the stage at 6 p.m. Ticket prices have not yet been released.

It’s part of a swing through South Dakota, as Black will perform in Deadwood April 12 and Aberdeen on April 13.

Corn Palace Director Mark Schilling said he is not authorized to discuss the show.

“I can neither confirm or deny it,” Schilling said.

Black shot to fame in 1989 with the hit songs “A Better Man” and “Killin’ Time.”

He has recorded and toured since that time, and has also appeared in movies and on TV. Black has been married to actress Lisa Hartman for more than 21 years.
