$250,000 Mega Millions ticket sold in Lennox

PIERRE – A ticket sold in Lennox matched all five white ball numbers but missed the Mega Ball to win the $250,000 second prize in the January 8, 2013 Mega Millions drawing.

The winning numbers for the January 8, 2013 drawing are 3, 20, 21, 38 and 42; the Mega Ball is 19 and the Megaplier is 4. The odds of winning the game’s $250,000 second prize are 1:3,904,701.

The lucky ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket immediately, put it in a safe place, and contact the Sioux Falls Lottery office at 605-367-5840 or the Pierre Lottery office at 605-773-5770 to make arrangements to validate their ticket and claim the prize. Winners have 180 days to claim their winnings.

Mega Millions is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot currently sits at $55 million for the next drawing on Friday, January 11, 2013.
