A Mitchell woman awaiting sentencing for possession of methamphetamine admitted Tuesday to failing to appear for one of her required drug tests.

A Mitchell woman awaiting sentencing for possession of methamphetamine admitted Tuesday to failing to appear for one of her required drug tests.

Latricia Arcoren, 21, pleaded guilty Dec. 4 to one count of possession of a controlled substance after she was arrested Sept. 26 when police found a light bulb with methamphetamine residue on it in a trash can in her residence.

Arcoren was released on bond while awaiting sentencing for the drug charge, with a condition she submits to twice-weekly drug tests. Arcoren admitted in court Tuesday that she failed to appear for one of her scheduled tests. She was again released on bond to await sentencing, which is scheduled for February.
