Mitchell boys stun No. 4-ranked Brandon Valley

BRANDON — Mitchell picked up its third win of the season Tuesday, defeating No. 4-ranked Brandon Valley in a boys’ high school basketball game.

BRANDON — Mitchell High School picked up its third win of the season Tuesday, defeating No. 4-ranked Brandon Valley in a boys’ basketball game.

The Kernels defeated Bran-don Valley 46-44 for their first Eastern South Dakota Conference win of the season. It was also their first road victory of the year.

Mitchell (3-7) lost to Brandon Valley 57-39 to open its season on Dec. 7. For more on the game, see Wednesday’s edition of The Daily Republic.
