Escapee from Huron jail considered dangerous

HURON (AP) — People in the Huron area are being told to lock their doors while authorities search for an escaped prisoner.

HURON (AP) — People in the Huron area are being told to lock their doors while authorities search for an escaped prisoner.

The Beadle County Sheriff's Department says Charles Beeney escaped from the jail in Huron early Tuesday and is armed with a makeshift weapon. The media that he is considered dangerous.

The 45-year-old Beeney is originally from Kansas and was arrested on a charge of aggravated eluding.
