DWU softball team lands Loeppky

The Dakota Wesleyan University softball team added a fifth member to its roster for the 2014 season.

Coach Ed Kieff announced the signing of Lorissa Loeppky, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Monday.

Loeppky is a right-handed pitcher and first baseman but bats left handed. In 2012, she batted .405 in three games played with two home runs. She had a 2.51 ERA and went 17-2-1 as a pitcher.
