Today, at the Corn Palace, Mitchell High School hosts Brandon Valley in an Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ basketball game.
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Records: The Mitchell girls are 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the ESD. Brandon Valley is 3-5 overall and 3-3 in the ESD.
Notes: Mitchell is coming off back-to-back losses, falling to Sioux Falls Washington Friday and Aberdeen Central Saturday. … Brandon Valley’s most recent game was a 71-30 loss to Aberdeen Central. … Mitchell defeated Brandon Valley 65-30 in both teams’ season-opening game.
Next: The girls’ Hanson basketball classic is Saturday. The event, which has eight games, starts at 10 a.m. The final game starts at 8:30 p.m.
