Chris Kuca scored 12 points for Wagner, which shot 24-of-62 from the field. The Red Raiders made 15 free throws from 20 attempts at the line. Wagner improves to 3-1 with the win.
Will Hollmann pulled down seven of the Red Raiders’ 29 team rebounds. Wagner committed 12 turnovers.
Kodi Larson was the leading scorer for Bon Homme with 19 points. Scott Wieseler scored 12 points. Scott Van Winkle and Jon Barrett each added 10 points in the loss. The Cavaliers shot 25-of-55 from the field and 4-of-7 from the free-throw line.
Barrett grabbed six of Bon Homme’s 25 rebounds. The Cavaliers committed 11 turnovers.
Wagner hosts Corsica/Stickney today, while Bon Homme (2-5) plays at Vermillion Tuesday.

HOWARD — Howard fell to Parker 54-44 in the Big East Tournament Friday.
Jake Anderson scored 20 points for Parker. Blake Reynolds added 10 points and Reid Joffer had 15 rebounds.
Cal Wiese and Steve Larsen scored 10 points apiece for Howard. Cole Potter had nine rebounds.
Howard shot 16-of-46 from the field and 8-of-19 from the free-throw line. The Tigers recorded 36 team rebounds and 20 turnovers.
Parker is 4-4 and plays Chester in the final round of the tournament today in Volga. Howard is 1-6 and plays Baltic today in Volga.

AVON — Jake Spoelstra recorded a double-double in Dakota Christian’s 57-38 win over Avon Friday in a high school boys’ basketball game.
Spoelstra scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and recorded three assists. Carter Dykstra scored 10 points and had three steals.
The Cadets shot 23-of-51 from the field and 6-of-10 from the free-throw line. Dakota Christian, who is 2-5 with the win, totaled 23 team rebounds. The Cadets tallied nine turnovers, while Avon had 15.
Brandon Kocmich led the Pirates with 18 points and seven rebounds. Logan Powers added 11 points and Logan Mudder recorded three steals.
Avon (1-4) recorded 22 team rebounds.
Dakota Christian hosts Mitchell Christian Thursday, while Avon hosts Irene-Wakonda today.

FREEMAN — Cole Paulson scored 18 points to lead Freeman over Bridgewater-Emery 75-43 in a high school boys’ basketball game Friday.
Jordan Rinehart scored 12 points for Freeman, while Shaun Becker scored 11. The Flyers (2-1) made 32 field goals on 61 attempts and shot 5-of-9 from the free-throw line.
Becker recorded nine rebounds and seven assists in the win. Freeman recorded 35 team rebounds and turned the ball over seven times. The Flyers host Canistota today.
Clayton Dye scored 17 points to lead Bridgewater-Emery. The Huskies shot 17-of-43 from the field and 7-of-14 from the free-throw line.
Bridgewater-Emery, who is 2-3 with the loss, tallied 14 team rebounds and committed 13 turnovers. The Huskies hosts Colman-Egan today in Emery.

TRIPP — Tripp-Delmont/Armour improved to 3-4 with a 49-41 win over Scotland Friday in a high school boys’ basketball game.
Austin Barlow and Trevor Payer each scored 14 points for the Nighthawks, who shot 15-of-40 from the floor. Cody Hrdlicka added 10 points. TDA made 17 free throws on 20 attempts.
Seth Ireland and Garret Kotalik each scored 10 points for Scotland. The 1-5 Highlanders shot 17-of-38 from the field and 5-of-14 from the free-throw line.
TDA recorded 29 rebounds to Scotland’s 25. The Nighthawks, who also won the junior varsity game 51-24, committed 14 turnovers in the game. The Highlanders tallied 16 turnovers.
TDA plays Platte-Geddes Tuesday in Platte, while Scotland’s next game is against Mount Vernon Monday at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.

Isiah Old Lodge scored 16 points for the Warriors. Nathan Galbraith added 11 points and Zach Pederson scored 10.
Winner shot 33-of-62 from the field for 53 percent and went 15-of-21 for 72 percent from the free-throw line. The Warriors tallied 30 rebounds and 10 turnovers.
Winner is 3-3 and hosts Gregory today, Bennett County is 2-4 and plays today at Wall.

Brandon Reif scored 18 points for the Cougars. Billy Kapperman had 17 points. Jake Heumiller scored 12 points and Will Gottlob scored 10 points.
MCM shot 62 percent from the floor and 10-of-18 from the free-throw line.

Nick Gortmaker scored a game-high 22 points for Marion. Jacob Wuertz added 14 points. Marion shot 13-of-59 from the field and made seven free throws on 11 attempts.
Wuertz led the defense with eight rebounds and Joey Pessia had six rebounds. Gortmaker had five rebounds, eight steals and four assists. Marion totaled 21 rebounds and 15 turnovers.
Dell Rapids St. Mary is 1-7 and hosts Parker Tuesday. Marion is 0-5 and hosts Freeman Academy Tuesday.

Cote Hinker led the Titans defensive effort with nine rebounds. Long added four of the team’s 39 total rebounds. Denning recorded five steals in the win. The Titans committed 18 turnovers.
Deion Sails was the leading scorer for Wessington Springs with 13 points. The Spartans shot 18-of-43 from the field and 2-of-7 from the free-throw line. The team totaled 26 rebounds and 32 turnovers.
Mount Vernon/Plankinton hosts Sanborn Central/Woonsocket today in Plankinton. Wessington Springs, which is 1-5 this season, hosts Ethan Monday.

Dustin Lehr scored 17 points for the Wolves, who shot 20-of-44 from the field. Caleb Preszler added 10 points in the win. Menno made 21 free throws on 35 changes at the line.
Dylan Lehr led the team’s rebounding with eight, while the team totaled 36. The 2-3 Wolves recorded 21 turnovers.

Kieran O’Malley scored 21 points for Centerville. Logan Wieseler scored 13 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Britany Austin had eight rebounds in the win.
Canistota was led by Chloe Nielsen with 13 points. The Hawks shot 14-of-48 from the field and 4-of-10 from the free-throw line.
Nielsen also led the defensive effort with nine rebounds, while Jenny Hofer had six. Canistota totaled 33 rebounds as a team. The Hawks turned the ball over 18 times.
Centerville (7-1) plays Scotland Monday at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, while Canistota (1-7) hosts Gayville-Volin Tuesday.
