Today's games at the Corn Palace: 1/5/13

Today, at the Corn Palace, Dakota Wesleyan takes on Nebraska Wesleyan in a double header. In addition, the Mitchell High School boys’ basketball team will take the floor against Aberdeen Central.

Time: The DWU women’s game is set for 1 p.m. and the men’s game will follow. The MHS boys’ game is slated for 7:30 p.m.

Records: The DWU women are 13-4 overall and 5-3 in the GPAC, while the DWU men are 8-9 overall and 3-5 in conference play. The Kernel boys are 2-6.

Notes: DWU’s Kim Johnson leads the GPAC in scoring with 19.77 points per game. … Jalen Voss leads the men’s team with 13.94 points per game. … The Kernels are led by Seth Cavanaugh, who averages 14.5 points per game.
