Both drivers in crash cited
Two drivers involved in a 1:49 p.m. accident Thursday at the intersection of Norway Avenue and Burr Street were cited by Mitchell police officer Kevin Yeo for driving without proof of insurance, according to the Mitchell Police Division.By: Staff reports, The Daily Republic
Two drivers involved in a 1:49 p.m. accident Thursday at the intersection of Norway Avenue and Burr Street were cited by Mitchell police officer Kevin Yeo for driving without proof of insurance, according to the Mitchell Police Division.
Alyssa Green, 15, of Mitchell, who was driving a 1992 Chevrolet pickup, was also ticketed for failing to yield at the intersection.
Green’s pickup collided with a 2007 Ford Mustang driven by Kelsey McWhorter, 20, of Artesian. The wreck was pictured in Friday’s Daily Republic.
Information about any potential injuries in the crash was not immediately available.
