MCHS girls remain undefeated, top Tripp-Delmont/Armour
TRIPP — Khiree Held scored a game-high 18 points and helped lead the Mitchell Christian girls’ basketball team to a 57-31 win over Tripp-Delmont/Armour Thursday in Tripp.

With the win, the Golden Eagles remain undefeated at 6-0.
Alexa Van Laecken had 17 points, nine assists and seven steals, while Brittany Zoss scored eight points and brought down 10 rebounds. Mitchell Christian outrebounded TDA 29-22 in the game.
The Golden Eagles were 2-of-6 from the free-throw line and had nine turnovers.
TDA’s Jessica Sandau had a team-best 10 points. Kelli Batterman scored eight points and brought down nine rebounds.
The Nighthawks were 11-of-24 from the free-throw line and had 20 turnovers.
Mitchell Christian is back in action when it hosts Freeman Academy at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. TDA (0-8) plays Dakota Christian Monday in New Holland.
