Kendra Cheeseman signs with Dakota Wesleyan women

Hanson High School senior Kendra Cheeseman signed with the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball team, the school announced Wednesday.

Cheeseman, a 5-foot-8 guard from Alexandria, is in her fourth season starting for the Beavers. She has 581 points and 228 rebounds in three-plus seasons.

“We are excited to add a student-athlete like Kendra to our Tiger basketball family,” head coach Jason Christensen said in a press release. “She comes from a successful high school program and has been a big part of Hanson High School’s success over the past four years. She is a great fit for DWU both academically and athletically.”
