SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Nearly 400 people gathered to mourn three siblings killed just days before Christmas in a northern Sioux Falls neighborhood.

Fifteen-year-old Michael Hensley, 12-year-old Savannah Coon and 6-year-old Alivia Coon were laid to rest Monday at Celebrate Church in matching caskets covered in blue-and-gray cloth.

The siblings died together in a blaze that engulfed their two-story home on North Main Avenue. Their mother and stepfather, Rhiannon and David White, escaped by jumping out a window.

Family and friends recalled Michael as creative, Savannah as a kind neighbor and Alivia as a little performer.

The media reports that the three were buried at Woodlawn Cemetery.
