Marlin girls tie, lose to Oahe
PIERRE — The Mitchell Marlins girls’ varsity team was not able to win either of its weekend games.
PIERRE — The Mitchell Marlins girls’ varsity team was not able to win either of its weekend games.
Saturday, the Marlins played Oahe (Pierre) to a 4-4 tie after overtime. Sunday, the Marlins fell to the Oahe Capitals 5-2 after scoring the first goal of the game.
Kylie Barrington and Haley Stahl each scored two goals for the Marlins this weekend, while Ashley Murtha and Kayla had one apiece.
The Marlins’ JV team won both of its game over Oahe to improve its record to 9-0 this season.
