Jacob Kirsch scored 18 points for the WiLdKats, who shot 23-of-63 from the field and 14-of-24 from the free-throw line.
Taylor had seven rebounds of the team’s total 30 rebounds. The WiLdKats committed 17 turnovers.
Brady London scored 11 points for the Cowboys. Paul Temple added 10 points. Colome shot 17-of-50 from the field and 2-of-4 from the free-throw line.
Lane Fawcett had nine rebounds. Colome totaled 37 team rebounds and 18 turnovers.
Kimball/White Lake is undefeated this season at 5-0 and plays Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Jan. 8 in Woonsocket. Colome (2-3) plays St. Francis at Snowball Classic today in Winner.

MURDO — Jones County defeated Iroquois 74-37 in the Holiday Classic Friday.
Wyatt Hespe led Jones County’s scoring with 15 points. Erik Wehlander was Iroquois’s leading scorer with 11 points.

PRESHO — Tyler Frank scored 23 points in South Central’s 66-20 win over Kadoka in the Lyman Boys’ Basketball Classic Friday.
Josh Tuttle added 14 points for the Cougars, who made seven free throws on nine attempts. Zach Sebern made three from behind the arc to add seven points.
Frank led the team in rebounds with six of the Cougars’ 30. Tuttle and Sebern each recorded four assists. South Central turned the ball over 14 times.
South Central (4-1) hosts Dakota Christian Thursday in Burke.

PRESHO — Jaylen Uthe scored 20 points to lift Lyman over Sunshine Bible Academy 45-42 at Lyman Classic Friday.
Jaelani Uthe added nine points for Lyman, who shot 19-of-36 from the field. The 3-1 Raiders made six free throws on six attempts to go 100% from the line.
Charlie LaRoche led the team in rebounds and assists with five rebounds and five assists. Jaylen Uthe recorded four steals and Eric Terca added three. Lyman recorded 18 team rebounds and 17 turnovers. The Raiders host Colome Jan. 7 in Presho.

ALCESTER — Avon picked up its first season win with a 38-29 defeat of Alcester-Hudson Friday.
Brandon Kocmich scored 15 points for the Pirate and recorded four assists and six rebounds. Logan Mudder added 10 points and led the team with seven rebounds.
Avon shot 43 percent from the field and 38 percent from the free-throw line. The Pirates totaled 30 team rebounds and 20 turnovers.
Avon (1-4) plays at Scotland Jan. 5.

BROOKINGS — Bridgewater-Emery fell to Deuel 45-24 as part of the Swiftel Classic Girls’ Basketball Tournament Friday.
Tiana Kayser led the Huskies with 11 points. The team went 10-of-37 from the field and made 4 of its eight free throw attempts for 50 percent.
Tiana Kayser, Kadra Kayser and Kelsey Kotas grabbed five rebounds apiece. Bridgewater-Emery recorded 35 team rebounds and 22 turnovers in the loss.
Bridgewater-Emery (4-3) sees its next action against Freeman Thursday in Emery.

ALCESTER — Avon had two players score in double digits as the Pirates defeated Alceester-Hudson 40-36 in overtime Friday.
Arian Oorlog was Avon’s leading scorer with 13 points. Chesney Nagel added 11 points and led the team with 15 rebounds. Heidi Kapp had 13 rebounds.
Avon shot 21 percent from the field and 13-of-25 from the line. The Pirates recorded 36 total rebounds and 17 turnovers.

Becca Moorhead led Colome with nine points. The Cowboys shot 10-of-44 from the field and 11-of-18 from the free-throw line.
Tara Farley had seven of the team’s 25 rebounds. Colome recorded 18 turnovers.
