Toddler death in Sioux Falls deemed suspicious
The child was not breathing and had no pulse on Monday, then regained a heartbeat but died on Tuesday.
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Sioux Falls police are describing the death of an 18-month-old toddler as suspicious.
Emergency personnel responded to a call at a Sioux Falls residence Monday afternoon that the infant was not breathing and had no pulse. The child regained a heartbeat but died on Tuesday.
Police say observations by doctors and results of an autopsy initiated a criminal investigation, which is ongoing.
No further details were available.
