Scholarship available for Mitchell students

The Mark Peters Memorial Scholarship ($500) is available to any student of any age.

Applicant criteria includes:

• Must live in the Mitchell trade area.

• A 2.5 GPA from a post-secondary institution.

• One-page written narrative of approximately 250 words, answering these questions:

What does pheasant habitat mean to me?

How can I benefit from this habitat?

• Copy of the post-secondary transcript with student’s current mailing address, phone number and email address.

This scholarship will be administered by the Mitchell Pheasant Country Chapter of Pheasants Forever and the winner will be determined by a committee from the group.

The $500 will be remitted to the winner’s current educational institution.

The scholarship will be presented to this year’s winner at the 2013 Pheasant Country Chapter of Pheasants Forever landowners banquet.
