Naomi L. Fuhrman and Samuel J. Bjorkman announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Dr. Bill and Lynne Fuhrman, Aberdeen; and Judge Timothy and Kay Bjorkman, Canistota.

Naomi is a senior at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.

Samuel is a 2012 West Point graduate and will be stationed at Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa, Japan.

A June 8 wedding is planned in South Dakota.
