WORTHING (AP) — Worthing city commissioners have fired police chief Roger Knutson alleging "repeated unprofessional conduct."

WORTHING (AP) — Worthing city commissioners have fired police chief Roger Knutson alleging "repeated unprofessional conduct."

The media reports that Kuntson was fired Tuesday night, after 24 years in law enforcement.

Knutson says he has submitted an appeal in writing but he declined further comment.

City commissioners voted to immediately begin a search for Knutson's replacement.
