Arrest made in burglaries in Hill City area

The Pennington County Sheriff's Office says the 31-year-old Hill City resident was taken into custody late last week on charges of grand theft and receiving stolen property.

HILL CITY (AP) — Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a handful of burglaries in the Hill City area.

The Pennington County Sheriff's Office says the 31-year-old Hill City resident was taken into custody late last week on charges of grand theft and receiving stolen property.

Guns, jewelry and money were taken in the November burglaries. Authorities are continuing to investigate.
