A Wagner man was arrested Dec. 4 for allegedly driving drunk with a loaded rifle in his vehicle.
Joshua Cuka, 27, was pulled over near the intersection of First Avenue and Foster Street in Mitchell after Davison County Chief Deputy Steve Brink clocked Cuka driving 61 mph in a 45 mph zone, court documents say.
After allegedly failing a series of field sobriety tests, Cuka was arrested for drunken driving. A loaded rifle was allegedly found in his vehicle.
Cuka is charged with first-offense drunken driving and possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated. He faces a maximum of one year in jail and a $2,000 fine for each charge, both misdemeanors.
Cuka is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
