Pickstown student found dead at SDSU

BROOKINGS — South Dakota State University officials have identified a student who was found dead in his Binnewies Hall dorm room Tuesday night.

Nineteen-year-old Connor Noteboom was a sophomore advertising major from Pickstown.

A coroner has ruled his death as self-inflicted. No other details as to the cause of death were released.

Marysz Rames, vice president for student affairs at SDSU, said authorities were called to Binnewies Hall at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday.
