Mitchell teen says he didn’t violate probation

An 18-year-old Mitchell man convicted of distributing marijuana denied Tuesday that he violated his probation.
Benjamin Roger Amadon will stay in jail until a hearing on the alleged violations, which is scheduled for next month.
Amadon pleaded guilty April 17 to possession with the intent to distribute 1 ounce or less of marijuana. He was sentenced June 12 to two years on probation, 40 days in jail and fined $300.
