Debra Ann Lewin, 53, Cheyenne, Wyo., died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Davis Hospice Center, Cheyenne.
She was born on May 25, 1959.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Parkston. Private burial will follow. Rosary will precede the service at 10 a.m. at the church.
Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel, Cheyenne, is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Davis Hospice Center Cheyenne.
She was born in Parkston, a daughter to Dale and Arliss (Weber) Schaefers.
Debra graduated from Parkston High School in 1977. She then attended Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls.
She moved to Cheyenne in 1987, where she was employed with National Business Systems for 20 years. In 2008, she opened Advanced Printing, Inc.
Debra was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed softball, volleyball , fishing, golfing, working in her yard and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Chad (Erin) Lewin, Pueblo, Colo.; and Tyler Lewin, Cheyenne; her mother, Arliss Schaefers, Parkston; four brothers and their wives: Dennis (Terri) Schaefers, Grand Junction, Colo.; Dean (Donna) Schaefers, Parkston; Doug (June) Schaefers, Sioux Falls; and Bruce Schaefers, Tripp; a sister, Brenda Wagner, Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren: Mati and Brady Lewin, Pueblo; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Guido and Irene Schaefers; and Leonard and Theresa Weber.
