SPRINGFIELD — A Springfield woman and her passenger suffered a vehicle rollover Saturday but were not seriously injured.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol said Linda Deming, 39, was traveling south on 390th Avenue, about five miles southeast of Marty, when she and a passenger spotted a deer.
The Highway Patrol said by the time Deming brought her attention back to the road, it was too late to stop at an intersection.
She then tried to turn, entering the south ditch, and the vehicle rolled. Deming and a passenger were transported by ambulance to Wagner with minor, non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Highway Patrol
Both people were wearing seat belts. The accident remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
