Today, at the Corn Palace, Mitchell High School hosts Brookings in an Eastern South Dakota Conference boys’ basketball game.
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Records: Mitchell is 0-2 and 0-2 in the ESD. Brookings is 1-1 and 1-1 in the ESD.
Notes: Brookings opened its season with a 52-50 win over Aberdeen on Friday in Brookings. The Bobcats then lost to Huron Saturday on the road. … Mitchell’s leading scorer in both of its losses was Cole Morgan. The senior guard had 15 points in the season-opening loss to Brandon Valley and had 15 against Pierre on Saturday.
Next: The Mitchell High School boys’ basketball team hosts Rapid City Central at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Corn Palace in a nonconference game.
