Christmas music will fill the air as the Mitchell Area Concert Series presents the George Dyer Christmas Show at the Corn Palace at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10.
George Dyer is one of the finest tenors in the world who has performed extensively to wide acclaim. His beautiful tenor voice has been described as “powerful,” “rich,” “clear,” “silken” and “gorgeous,” with “soaring high notes.” Reviewers, announcers and fans alike regularly mention his engaging stage presence and entertaining style.
George sings a variety of musical genres including Broadway hits, power ballads, beloved operatic favorites, oldies and gospel. Monday’s concert will feature a mix of Christmas carols and pop tunes including “White Christmas,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Winter Wonderland,” “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night” and many more.
He will be joined by his daughter and an award-winning three-piece band.
