Dorothy D. Brandt, 85, Avon, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton.

Dorothy D. Brandt, 85, Avon, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton.

She was born on Dec. 4, 1927.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Avon. Burial will be in the church Cemetery, rural Avon. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church with the family present. There will be a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday at the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane (John) Boheman, Sioux Falls; and son Arlen (Sharon), Emery, and their families.
