Mitchell woman pleads guilty to meth possession

A Mitchell woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of methamphetamine.

Latricia Arcoren, 21, was arrested Sept. 26 after police found a light bulb with methamphetamine residue on it in a trash can in Arcoren’s apartment.

Prosecutors agreed to drop a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in exchange for Arcoren’s guilty plea to the meth charge.

A presentence investigation was ordered. Sentencing is scheduled for next month.
