Charles Merkwan, 85, Wagner, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.

Charles Merkwan, 85, Wagner, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.

He was born on June 21, 1927.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Catholic Church, Dante. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Wagner.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home, Wagner. Wake services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
