Walters makes 11A honorable mention list

CHAMBERLAIN — Chamberlain senior Jami Walters made the Class 11B all-state football team for his efforts on special teams this season.
Walters averaged 32 yards per punt, and his longest punt was 60 yards this season.
The 6-foot-2, 250-pound Cub also made the 2011 11A all-state team as a junior for special teams.
Walters also had 57 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery on the year.
He is being highly recruited by area colleges but has made no decision about his future as of now, according to Chamberlain head coach John King.
Shattuck, Dollar bowl perfect 300s

Two Mitchell bowlers recorded perfect scores last week.
Steve Shattuck bowled a 300 in the National League at the Village Bowl Wednesday. He bowled a 193, 300 and 266 to give him a 759 series.
Jaeson Dollar recorded his perfect score Friday in a tournament in Chamberlain.
