Things to remember
KIDS SHOPPING EVENT PLANNED: The 19th annual Christmas Shopping for Kids will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Masonic Temple, Mitchell.
The event is open for shopping for children ages 12 and under. Gifts are priced under $10. Gift wrapping and shopping assistance by Santa’s Elves are provided at no charge by Davison County 4-H Clubs.
TRIPP TO HOST FARMERS UNION MEETING: District 1 Farmers Union will meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Sport Bowl and Café, Tripp.
Guest speaker is Dakota Plains General Manager Matt Winsand.
ALTERNATIVE GIFT FAIR SCHEDULED: An Alternative Gifts Fair will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at the First United Methodist Church, Mitchell.
There will be 16 organizations from local to national focus there to offer alternative gifts for the holidays.
