BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Holiday travelers in the Dakotas stand a good chance of encountering a Highway Patrol trooper or two out on the roads.
The Highway Patrol agencies in both North Dakota and South Dakota say they are putting all available personnel on the road Wednesday, from troopers to supervisors to command staff.
The day before Thanksgiving is typically one of the busiest travel days of the year.
