LETTER: The election is over, let’s start working

To the Editor:

Well, the election is over and Obama has been re-elected for another four-year term in spite of all the adverse stories the opposition had fabricated trying to destroy him. Some of those were outright lies and all the billions that they spent trying to make the public believe them. I guess the old saying is still true, “You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.”

Now if some of these people will get in line and support the president, maybe we can get this country moving again. We need to balance our budget and take care of our national debt that will destroy us in the long run if we don’t do something about it.
