DeJong, Geraets wed in Lead in August ceremony

LEAD — Summer DeJong and Ryan Geraets were married on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Terry Peak Chalets Pavilion, Lead.

Parents of the couple are Lois and Ken Tracy, Mitchell; and the late Gary DeJong; and Ken and Joanne Geraets, Mitchell.

Bridal attendants were Brooke Pejsa, Tyler DeJong, Jeremiah DeJong and Peter DeJong. Gabi DeJong was flower girl.

Groom’s attendants were Kraig Geraets, Jeff Geraets, Pat Geraets and Teresa Mayer. Ring bearer was Dylan Geraets.

A social and reception followed the ceremony.

Summer is a graduate of Mitchell High School. She holds a degree in history from Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell. She is the executive director of Dakota Plains Chapter - American Red Cross.

Ryan is also a Mitchell High School graduate and earned a nursing degree from the University of South Dakota. He is a Pioneer seed sales representative in Mitchell.

The couple will live in Mitchell.
