Mittens for Mitchell sewing rescheduled for Nov. 17

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no Mittens for Mitchell sewing this weekend.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no Mittens for Mitchell sewing this weekend. The project will be finished up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Community Room at Meadowlawn Plaza, Mitchell.

Helping hands to sew, count, sort and pack mittens and scarves are still needed.

If anyone is interested in sewing at home, call Joanne at (605) 933-2353 and make arrangements to pick up some mittens. The mittens need to be to the Snack Pack program by Nov. 19 so they can be inserted into the Thanksgiving Pack.
