Miner County businesses pass alcohol sales checks

Four businesses in Miner County passed alcohol compliance checks conducted Friday by the South Central Alcohol Task Force.

Four businesses in Miner County passed alcohol compliance checks conducted Friday by the South Central Alcohol Task Force.

Prairie Inn and Cabaret in Carthage, Jake’s Corner in Winfred, The Batter’s Box in Canova and Rafferty Robbins Drug in Howard all passed. There were no failures. The task force sends undercover buyers into businesses to see if the seller checks the buyer’s age with appropriate identification.
