On Oct. 27, local Modern Woodmen volunteers, along with volunteers from coast to coast, improved communities on Make-A-Difference Day, a national day of service. Members of the Plankinton Modern Woodmen Chapter donated books to the Mount Vernon School Library. Coordinated by local Modern Woodmen members, chapters provide opportunities to connect through social activities and volunteer projects. As a tax-exempt fraternal benefit society, Modern Woodmen sells life insurance, annuity and investment products not to benefit stockholders, but improve the quality of life of its stakeholders-members, their families and their communities. Annually, Modern Woodmen and its members provide more than $23 million and nearly 1 million volunteer hours for community projects nationwide.
The Stampede Wrestling Club would like to thank not only the club members and club officers but also the community for making the Wild Game Feed a huge success. Your support, generosity and help are greatly appreciated.
