The Beavers, who won by set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-13, advance to the Region 6B championship game, where they will play Andes Central at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Menno for a state tournament berth.
To help lead Hanson to the region game, Kendra Cheeseman provided 18 assists and seven digs. Kynedi Cheeseman tallied 13 kills while Erika Nelson and Kelli Wenande tallied eight and seven, respectively.
Scotland was led by Carley Skorepa, who recorded seven kills, 13 digs and one service ace. Amber Alvey finished with 17 assists and three service aces. Kennidy Asche added seven kills and four blocks.
Parker 3, Marion 0
PARKER— Allison Sanner recorded 11 kills to lead Parker to a three-set victory over Marion in the District 7B championship Friday.
Set scores were 25-13, 25-21, 25-13. Amber Dysthe had 33 assists and two service aces while Tessa Weeldreyer and Micalanne Hanten added nine and eight kills, respectively.
Marion was led by Kylie Hughes, who recorded 10 kills and 10 digs. Katherin Luke tallied one kill, 17 assists, four digs and one service ace. Ashley Rosenwald-Mueller also added eight kills, seven digs and one service ace.
James Valley Christian 3, Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 0
WOLSEY — Ariana Zuccaro recorded 10 kills to lead James Valley Christian to a straight-sets victory in the District 9B championship.
Set scores were 25-18, 25-16, 25-16.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket was led by Candace Page-Marten, who recorded 13 assists and 12 digs while Rachel Moore added 17 digs and two service aces. Marissa Webber and Morgan Larson recorded seven and six kills, respectively.
