The Mitchell Department of Public Safety has reopened the 1100 block of East First Avenue following an incident that drew a large law enforcement response.
People who left the area are free to return, the department says.
Police officers and a SWAT team converged on a trailer house around 8 a.m. Thursday. Some nearby houses were evacuated before law enforcement moved into the trailer.
