Police ask public to avoid incident area on East First
The Mitchell Department of Public Safety is asking the public to stay clear of the 1100 block of East First Avenue due to a "police incident."By: Staff reports, The Daily Republic

The Mitchell Department of Public Safety is asking the public to stay clear of the 1100 block of East First Avenue due to a "police incident."
At the scene, law enforcement personnel appear to be surrounding a trailer home. A SWAT team also has arrived, and there has been talk of a shot or shots fired inside the home. Nearby residences have been evacuated.
