Beverly Nagel, Rapid City

Beverly Jean Nagel, 67, Rapid City, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at her home.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home, Rapid City, with the Rev. Wayne Titus officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Dan J. Nagel Sr.; her son, Danny J. Nagel Jr.; her daughter, Lisa M. Nagel, all of Rapid City; her daughter, Lynelle M. Weymouth (Terry), Box Elder; her grandson, Joshua Weymouth; her sister, Betty Zoss, Letcher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother in infancy, Russell Olson.

Margaret Ditter, Kingsley, Iowa

Margaret Ditter, 102, Kingsley, Iowa, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1909.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kingsley, with the Rev. Mark Stoll officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Kingsley.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Rohde Funeral Home, Kingsley, with a 6 p.m. rosary.

Margaret was born in LeMars, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Foley) Becker.

As a small child, she moved with her family to Farmer.

She graduated from Edgerton Consolidated High School in Farmer in 1928.

Margaret and Arnold Ditter were united in marriage on Jan. 27, 1937, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Farmer.

Together, they farmed in the Farmer area for 30 years.

In 1967, they moved to Kingsley, Iowa, and formed Becker-Ditter Oil Co., which later became Ditter-Rolling Oil Co.

Margaret enjoyed playing cards, sewing, crocheting and quilting. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and Ladies Guild.

She is survived by her children, Dietta Lassegard, Fremont, Neb.; David (Sharon) Ditter, Alexandria; Dennis (Jeanne) Ditter; Mason City, Iowa; Donald (Wendy) Ditter, Redmond, Wash.; Doris (Robert) Wygal, Mount Vernon, Wash.; Douglas (Peggy) Ditter, West Chester, Pa.; Denise (Chuck) Duignan, Davidsonville, Md.; Dale (Glenda) Ditter, Baxter, Minn.; one sister, Irma Burke, Topeka, Kan.; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; her parents, one son, Delvin; one son-in-law, five brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Michael Catholic Church, 220 Brandon St., Kingsley, Iowa, 51028; or KNRC Activity Fund, 305 W. Third St., Kingsley, Iowa, 51028; or to the charity of their choice.
