LETTER: Obama cares for the 99 percent that Romney doesn’t

Profiteers like Romney care not about fair trade policies from foreign companies, but about giving themselves and wealthy friends and corporations hefty profits and tax breaks; i.e. Cayman Island and Swiss bank accounts, for their United States tax evasion schemes.

To the Editor:

All politicians lie, unfortunately that’s a given, but some more than others and they deserve to lose. Romney and Ryan are those that deserve to lose. Watch MSNBC and you will see why.

Romney, through Bain Capital, is still invested by $8 million in Sensate Company, Freeport, Ill., an auto parts sensor company, being closed by Bain and hundreds of jobs shipped to China for 99-cents-an-hour wages. I do not want a president who cares more for his bottom-line profits, than workers’ jobs, decent wages, health insurance and a good U.S. economy.

Profiteers like Romney care not about fair trade policies from foreign companies, but about giving themselves and wealthy friends and corporations hefty profits and tax breaks; i.e. Cayman Island and Swiss bank accounts, for their United States tax evasion schemes.

Romney does not care whether any middle class individuals lose their jobs with the policies he’d implement. Nor would he care if they lost their health insurance or die because of such policies. Wake up, people, he does not care about the 99 percent; only the 1 percent.

Obama is not perfect, no one is, but he’s trying from what he inherited and has been blocked by the House of Representatives at all turns attempting to jump start the economy. He cares for the middle class and is using realistic tactics to deal with Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid, not cut, reduce or eliminate those programs.

It took 10 years to get in this mess, it will take more than four years to get out.
