Inmate, 80, convicted in Davison Co. dies at SD state prison
Delane Wantoch was sentenced from Davison County in 2003 to 50 years in prison for criminal pedophilia. An autopsy is being conducted.
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — The state Department of Corrections says an inmate has died at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls. Authorities say 80-year-old Delane Wantoch died Friday in a “comfort care setting” at the prison. Wantoch was sentenced from Davison County in 2003 to 50 years in prison for criminal pedophilia. An autopsy is being conducted.
